The Suzuri Japanese Plate takes its shape from the traditional inkstone used in Japanese calligraphy. Its lowered section is designed to hold sauces, dips, or spices, keeping them separate from the main dish.

Made in Hasami, Kyushu, each plate is crafted from fine Amakusa porcelain stone, prized for its purity. A translucent glaze pools gracefully in the recessed area through a technique called Tamekake, adding depth and subtle shine. Both functional and artful, this plate brings the heritage of Hasami porcelain to everyday dining.
